I am Annemiek Wullink founder of Amsterdamse Meisjes. I live in Amsterdam for many years now. I studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and started my career as a stylist for magazines. Later on I worked as a designer in fashion. When the company got bankrupt I decided to start as a full time painter. Crazy days… in some spare moments I started to make sketches about my daily life and of women in and around the city of Amsterdam.

I have drawn my whole life and was always a big fan of the Parisian illustrator Kiraz with his famous Girls from Paris … et voilà … Amsterdamse Meisjes was born!
